Rainwater can be collected and used anywhere you might use regular water just feel free to use your rainwater in whatever way resonates for you.
Different types of rainwater:
A gentle downpour from a sunny rain shower can be used for cleansing, purification, growth, joy.
Rain from a moody downpour with no thunder/lightning can be used for cleansing, dreams, sleep, intuition.
Thunderstorms, water from a more aggressive storm (lots of wind or thunder/lightning) can be used for power/protection, sacred rage, confidence/motivation.
Uses for your Magical Water:
Collect as much rainwater as you need, it can be stored in bottles for future spell work or used straight away in your magical casting.
- Place a bowl of rain water on your altar.
- Add it to your bath! Fill your bath, add any herbs/flowers/etc that you'd like into your container of rainwater, and then pour into the bath and enjoy! Dress your candles with it! Try dressing it with rainwater that matches your magical intention!
- Clean your crystals/magical tools with it!
